Faintly describes the backstory of what happened to Princesses Rhyme and Reason.

1. SUMMARIZE:  In your own words, explain the basic story of how these two sisters end up in the Castle in the Sky.  Be sure to include the very beginning when the prince conquers a wasteland and creates a city, called Wisdom.  This should not be a cut and paste of Chapter 6.  Give a few paragraphs explaining what happened and why the princesses were sent away and by whom. This is a simple summary of Faintly’s story. 

 

2. PREDICT: Explain how you believe their story will end.  Not Milo’s story but Princesses Rhyme and Reason’s story.  Your original story should begin with the sisters being imprisoned in The Castle in the Sky.  It may end however you wish.  Write it as a narrative, including a beginning, middle and ending.
