The Co-Conspirators of the ASSASSINATION of President Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln was assassinated on the evening of April 14, 1865 by John Wilkes Booth. A manhunt immediately began to find Booth, and he was eventually discovered and killed.  But, John Wilkes Booth did not act alone. 

 

You have been hired as a historical detective, analyzing four case files of possible conspirators in order to determine the guilt or innocence of each.  You will have to support each charge with evidence from the case files and present your findings in the form of a presentation to the judge and jury.  History shows there were actually 8 co-conspirators. For the purpose of this assignment, you will explore the first four. If time and interests allows, feel free to research the other four.
