If you could extend the story, what would happen? Write a one-page continuation of the story, using the same characters and format.
Step 1 Make a Plan
Answer the following questions first.
SETTING

STEP 2: Write your One-Page Story Extension. Follow this Checklist

Be sure to write in a format like the author’s writing style.

Use the ideas on the organizer to help brainstorm. Re-read the last few paragraphs of the actual story to get set to start writing.

Be sure to indent every time a different character starts speaking (for dialogue).

Proofread the work and make changes to fix any problem spots.
