Two 12 year old boys solve a murder case that trained detectives couldn’t solve five years, in Mary Downing’s Closed for the Season. This is a great mystery novel. Closed for the season is told from the point of view of Logan the main character. Logan lives in an old house. Everyone in the town knows that a murdered happened in her house. She and her friend find the daughter of the woman who was murdered because there are clues that only the daughter would know about. The end of the book was a surprising twist. The end will surely give you a shock.
