Jello Model

Step 1: Get the Jello out of the cup in one piece. Use the knife to gently cut along the edge.  It should pop out.

Step 2: Cut the Jello down the middle. The two halves should be identical.

Step 3: Place the Whooper, Jujyfruits,  Good & Plenty inside one half the Jello cube.

Step 4: Put the two halves back together, in the original shape.

Step 5: Wrap the entire cube with the Fruit Roll-up.

We didn't use the Good & Plenty this time.

Model Writing

1. Explain what we just created. How do you know what it is exactly?

2. We used five different things in our model.  Considering what we created, identify each piece of candy.

  • What does the Whopper represent?

  • What does the Roll-Up represent?

  • What does the Jujyfruit represent?

  • What does the Jello represent?

3. Explain what each of the four parts do in the real thing.

4. Explain what other things we could use to create such a model. Think outside the box.  Be original.
