Fudge

Students will work in groups of two-four to play “Fudge!

Object of the game: Rolling 3 eight-sided face dice (2 dice are added together for a subtotal with the third dice being added or subtracted for a total) and using addition and/or subtraction, players try to occupy two to three spaces in a row with their own marble.

This is called a piece of fudge.

Two pieces of fudge is a batch. The first player to make a batch of fudge wins the game. However, there is a “Special Ingredient” first determined at the beginning of the game with a total of all 3 dice which can be used to make a piece of fudge, which automatically doubles, becomes a batch, and wins the game. See game directions for more details and variations.
