Daisy found her daughter and has become a family pet. But what happened to the puppies once Daisy jumped out of the dumpster? Compose a play describing the events that lead Katima to Daisy. Explain what happened to the other two puppies.

Daisy and her puppies are having lunch in a warm dirty dumpster on a summer afternoon.

Daisy jumps out to relieve herself.  “No civilized person would use the bathroom where they live.” Find this quote.

 

Then the garbage truck takes the dumpster.  Daisy tries to save her three puppies. She tears her ear and hears their screams. 

 

What happens to the three puppies?  Katima ends up at the shelter after three months on the road.  But what about the other two boys?
