ANNOTATION MARKS

As a class, we will design our own language through annotation.  Don't worry if our symbols change or mean something different during other lessons.  This "language of annotation" is fluid.   Marks will change as our needs change.  Roll with it. When you are annotating on your own, be sure to note what YOUR symbols mean.  It will make discussions easier during later lessons and conferences.

Since this is our first introduction to annotation, let's start with these four basic symbols.  Feel free to suggest more as we move through our studies.
